Early Bridges at Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School
Early Bridges is a high quality pre-kindergarten program in collaboration between Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School District and ACAP's Head Start. Early Bridges is for children who are 3 and/or 4 years of age on or before December 1, 2018, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or disability.
The program runs from 8AM-2PM. Families may drop off children starting at 7:45AM. Any family needing morning bus transportation are asked to complete a transportation request. Early Bridges offers all children PM bus transportation. There is a separate after school daycare available for free that runs from 2-3 but no transportation is provided.
All children are provided free breakfast, snack and lunch daily. The program follows the Creative Curriculum guidelines and allows for 1/3 of the children's day to be self-selected free play.
All children who are accepted from within the district and/or Head Start region are tuition free. Any non-district children accepted will be on a tuition basis.
